ICTR Pilot Grant (ATIP) RFA
September 27, 2021Dear Colleagues:Together with the ATIP Grant Program Co-Chairs, Susan Dorsey, PhD, RN, FAAN and Peter Swaan, PhD, we are pleased to announce the sixth round of funding for the UMB ICTR Accelerated Translational Incubator Pilot (ATIP) Grant Program. The ATIP Grant program will provide starter funds for projects specifically focused on innovative,translational research that involve multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary collaborations among faculty from the Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, Law, and Social Work, UMBC, UMCP and UMB-community partnerships.This Request for Proposals provides 12 months of funding (May 1, 2022 – April 30, 2023) for three types of ATIP opportunities: The ICTR Innovative Collaboration Pilot Grant, the ICTR Community-Engaged Research Grant and the ICTR Artificial Intelligence/Cybersecurity/Machine Learning Pilot Grant. Awards up to $35,000 will be funded.Funding is through UMB’s and Johns Hopkins University’s (JHU) partnership in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) Clinical & Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Program, grant number 1UL1TR003098 or through the UMB ICTR internal funding mechanism.
