Cybersecurity Exploratory Projects
Dear Colleagues,
The Cybersecurity Leadership Task Force was pleased to receive eleven submissions for this important initiative to elevate cybersecurity teaching and research efforts at UMBC. We are pleased to announce that seven projects led by UMBC colleagues successfully competed for funding following reviews and feedback. Proposals came from all three academic colleges covering a broad spectrum of topics. New courses, research, and outreach will result from these projects. Thanks to Provost Rous who agreed to designate additional funds after we received a greater than expected response. The College of Engineering & Information Technology also contributed to funding two of the proposals.
