Director of CARAT at UMBC (Job no: 494747) Position Overview: The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) seeks a Director to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Creative Achievement and Research Administration Team (CARAT), a unit within the college, whose staff of nine employees manage an award portfolio which currently consists of around 80 sponsored awards and totaling approximately 8 million dollars in annual funding. CARAT is responsible for a range of tasks including, but not limited to research development, research administration, compliance, and consulting with CAHSS's 100+ Principal Investigators.
