Information Session on Internal Funding - START, SURFF, Eileen and Jerry Carroll Award, etc
Would you like to learn more about internal seed funding programs which can support initial stages of your research and/or creative activities?
The Division of Research and Creative Achievement, in partnership with the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, is holding a hybrid 30-minute information session this coming Monday, December 9th, from 1:30pm to 2pm.
Interested faculty and staff researchers from all campus units are invited to attend. More information (location, link) is available at this myUMBC event. We will be discussing several recently posted internal funding opportunities, such as:
- Summer Research Faculty Fellowship (SURFF) - due February 2025 for Summer 2025
- Strategic Awards for Research Transitions (START) - due February 2025 for Fiscal Year 2026
- Eileen and Jerry Carroll award - due March 2025
