OCGA's New Director - Cheryl Young

I’m happy to announce that today May 5th , Cheryl Young has joined the Office of Contract and Grant Accounting as our Director.

Cheryl joins UMBC after an impressive tenure at our sister institution the University of Maryland, Baltimore within their School of Medicine, where she most recently served as the Director, Contracts and Grants. Cheryl brings a wealth of experience including over 14 years of research administration. 

Her departmental perspective will inform our team and allow us to better understand and service the needs of our UMBC community. Cheryl has a proven track record as a collaborative leader and has been instrumental in building high functioning teams at UMB’s School of Medicine.
