IRB applications and the revised Common Rule
We're just about six months in with the IRB's implementation of the revised Common rule. We in the ORPC have noticed a fairly seamless transition so far. Please let us know of any protocol application or consent document questions as UMBC continues the process.

Recently updated are links to the IRB's Federal regulation resource page. The Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP) updates their guidance and FAQs, go to this page first to more information. We're adding other Federal governmental agency interpretations of the Common Rule as they become available.
